Who we are
Tex N Spex is an independent IT and security practice operated by Bouraima Diarra, based in the United States. You can reach us at bdiarra@texnspex.com.
What this policy covers
This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit texnspex.com, fill out the contact form, or otherwise interact with our website. It applies to information collected through the website itself.
It does not describe how a specific client engagement handles your data. Engagements such as security assessments, vulnerability scans, IT consulting, and cloud setup work are governed by the written engagement agreement signed for that work, which sets out confidentiality, data handling, and scope-specific terms.
Information we collect
- Contact-form submissions. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email, optional company name, team size, the topic you select, and the message you write. The form does not request sensitive personal information; please do not paste passwords, account numbers, or system credentials into it.
- Automatic information. Our hosting provider may log standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, referrer, request path) for security, abuse-prevention, and infrastructure purposes. We do not place advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use information
- To reply to your inquiry and any follow-up conversation.
- To prepare proposals or scopes of work that match your situation.
- To improve the website (aggregated, non-identifying patterns only).
- To meet legal obligations or enforce our terms when necessary.
Third parties we rely on
- EmailJS delivers contact-form submissions to our inbox. The information you submit passes through their service.
- Netlify hosts the website and processes standard request metadata.
- If we use any analytics service in the future, we'll list it here and update this date.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as they are useful for the conversation, and remove or archive them when they are no longer needed. You may ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing the address above.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your information, or to object to certain uses. You can exercise any of these rights by emailing bdiarra@texnspex.com. We respond promptly and at no cost.
Security
We use standard transport encryption (TLS) for the website and reasonable safeguards for contact-form data. No system or service is ever perfectly secure, and no provider — including Tex N Spex — can guarantee that your information, systems, or data will never be subject to a breach, intrusion, or other security incident. If we ever become aware of an incident affecting information you submitted through this website, we'll notify you in line with applicable law.
If we are engaged for paid security work, the safeguards, scope, limitations, and incident-response responsibilities for that engagement are set out in the engagement agreement — not this website privacy policy.
Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above will reflect the latest revision.
